I Was Born After 12 Years

This video tells an inspiring story of Emunah and how learning Torah connects people to the original blueprint of the world. R' Fishel Schachter's parents, both the sole survivors of their families, married after the war and, after 12 years, were still not blessed with children. A doctor told Mrs. Schachter “When hair will grow on the palm of my hand, you will have a child. It's not going to happen.” Devastated, she got on the bus and just went back and forth, feeling as though she had no reason to get off. Eventually, the bus driver came and told her to move on with her life. She heard his words, and said, “Hashem, I am in Your Hands”. A year later, she gave birth.

R' Schachter goes on to explain that learning Torah is like connecting to the original blueprint of the world. When Hashem made miracles like the splitting of the Sea, He had to go back to the original blueprint to make it consistent with the world's foundation.
